Can anyone help me with advice on using web template to create a date site/

If you are struggling with the template you stand little chance of constructing the back end.

What php-pro said is right... but

you can buy or download a script and try it out, to see if thats what you are looking for...

having a script will make your task easier, however... you will need to learn more about the code the script was writen on (i would recomend PHP)in order to "customize" and fix the site whenever needed.

http://www.php.net offers a nice and free PHP tutorial...
