Default Slide in ads

Anyone have a working javascript code for creating slide in (pop-over) ads?
I am just not in the mood for coding today:)

slide in ads are evil and more annoying than popup ads.

Default Yeah but..

I have no products or services to sell, so my only source of revenue is advertising.
I'm not looking to bombard every single page, just present one single slide in to each unique visitor.

I have to side with redcircle on this one, hover ads are a real pain, and I don't really want to post code here that will help achieve even more examples of something that I hate!

The technique is widely used, so why not go to a site that uses the hover ads and 'adapt' their code to your own purposes? I did notice *cough* marketingtips.com/hoverad/ use something very similar to what you're after.

Default OK guys

Just so you know.
I understand what you are saying with the pain in the assness of the ads, and I am reconsidering.
PS on the banner ads, they just don't work. I'm getting over 10k hits a day and maybe 1 banner click, and a few cents from adsense.
I have just switched to burstmedia on the ad for the top and will have to see if they do better.

Default Hit's or Unique Visitors

Are you getting 10k unique visitors or are you refering to hits. There's a big difference.

I was thinking on similar lines, the image in your signature, Charlene (which shouldn't really be there, according to our updated forum rules), will be clocking up hits every time someone reads a thread at WPW where you've contributed.
