I was thinking of adding a "Live Support" feature on a site of mine.
I've tried CGI:IRC, but there was a problem with everyone connecting through my own web server, instead of their own ip, so everyone that entered the room was a clone on IRC. PJIRC seems to work, but is not compatible with alot of browsers, and you have to click "yes" to security box, which most users seem to have a problem with. SO my question is, what would be a good chat (free) chat to use, for a live support feature? CGI:IRC was perfect, because of the compatibility w/ more browsers and no security box to click. |

If you do PHP at all, this one gets good reviews...I think it comes with the Plesk add-on packages, but it's also free if you want to just figure it out.

thanks! ill definately check it out.
--------- 1 hour later. Wow this is an awesome program. If you know any php and how to unzip .tar files, it will take maybe 10 minutes to set up. Once set up, it works like the $50 a month live support does. See everyone visiting your site, while they visit it, so many features I gotta get configuring!!! If you need live support, this thread found the anwser. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
