Classified Ads

I am curious if anyone has had any experience with the various classified scripts out there and are they worth the investment.

I would like to allow my users to place classifieds ads. Any info would be good.

If your server supports php/mysql, take a look at the scripts available on hotscripts.com , they have a good range of free classifieds scripts which I have used a couple of.

Did the ones you used require much knowledge of php or sql? I am really looking for a sort of idiot proof way but if it necessary for me to learn code than i guess there is no better motivator. Any suggestions on tutorials or classes?

By the way thanks for the response it seems my questions are not very interesting it is rare to get a response.
