Default Error on page

I need some help finding out why I am getting an "error on page".

Please have a look at http://www.viagra-impotence-forum.co...rman/index.htm

I am trying to make a spider friendly template using CSS styles that will also make things easier to manage but this error is giving me grief!

Please help.

Thanks.

Default I don't see it

I'm not getting an error with IE, FireFox, or Opera 7.5. What is the error you get?

EDIT: do you mean the links aren't working? I get a 404 when I click the links. Are you certain the pages are ftp'd to your host? Are the filenames correct? Sorry for the obvious questions, I have no idea what skill level you're at, lol.

LOL.
Web Design wise, my skill level is pretty high(6 years web, 10+ graphic)
But Im trying to use this new template that uses CSS styles instead of tables to make managing my sites (200 of them) less complicated, and easier to adjust and dupe, for myself and my co-workers.

Im viewing this site in IE. When it comes up, there is no "error on page", however as soon as you rollover a link, the "error on page" appears in the status bar in the bottom left corner.

Is this because the pages the text links are calling have not yet been built?

Thanx for the quick response.

I have 200 sites to manage, and its tough trying to keep them all up to par in regards to keywords, content etc. Im just trying to step up and start taking advantage of CSS. Hopefully I can get it wired before I go blind.

Thanks again.

You might find it is here:[*]<a href="#" accesskey="1" title="Help shortcut key = alt + 1">Viagra
Kaufen </a>

If you have no page yet leave it blank.

Thanks Matauri,

I tried getting rid of the #. But the error still comes up. The page that "Wie Sie bestellen Viagra"
is linking to has been created, yet the error still comes up.
I guess I'll check it out when all the pages have been built. But Im thinking it has something to do with the CSS styles, which I am somewhat a novice in using.

Thanks.

Maybe I looked too fast, but you seem to be making a call to a javascript function, something about setting cookies, but there are no scripts or links to scripts.

Default "error on page" still there.

I went ahead and built the other pages, but I am still getting the "error on page" in the IE status bar.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

That was anti-climactic. What was the problem? It might help someone else with a similar issue.

I know I'm going to be tortured until I hear the answer, lol...

Sorry about that.

There was a piece of javascript that was left in from a text sizing option which I took out earlier this morning because I couldnt get it to work properly.

This site is nothing pretty. But it will work. Just trying to keep up with the competition. Not much time for graphic design on this one, but Im pretty impressed with what can be done with css styles. This site uses no tables at all. Its tough keeping up with this stuff while keeping a social life intact.

Again, thanks for the help.

Take it easy.

Thanks Hardcoded,

You were right. It was a javascript that allows the text to be sized by the viewer. I took it all out and it works fine. Looks kind of hideous graphicwise, but I still have a few more sites to do this week so theres not much time to make em all look perty.

Thanks again.

Bohak, and other members who have replied, I've merged the two threads discussing this problem (the other was in Web Programming).

Glad to hear you found the cause of your error Bohak, and lots of luck with those 200 sites!

Paul
