I currently use a website editor that does not allow me to center my site to any resolution. I currently have my site set for 800x600. However, viewing my site with any other resolution-well, it looks terrible. If I were to make an additional mirror site, what resolution do you suggest optimizing it for if I were to pick one other? Or, would it be worth it to set it for all of them?

There are a few of ways around this twright, without having to make another page.
Use fluid design, where you use % and/or ems for measurement. You have to be pretty careful with using lots or large images though. If you use css & use your images in that, you can get around this somewhat. Make a background that will give the illussion of the page being designed for a larger resolution. I've done this on my business sites below. Centre your page and use a complimenting colour that will border your site, so that it gives a framing effect when on a higer resolution. Just because you are designing for 800x600, it doesnt mean you cant be creative for the larger res. Just experiment with different styles & designs. Hope this helps.
