How can you tell if your site has been indexed/spidered..etc?

and;

How often do the major search engines, such as google and yahoo, index or spider your site?

Your site will be spidered more often if you have links to your site from other sites.

As far as seeing if your site has ben indexed recently, just look up your site on google and it will have the mose recent date listed if they have viewed you reently.
