Default Ranked 13 on Yahoo and nowhere in Google

I m Ranked 13 on Yahoo and nowhere in Google or far away. Is it normal ? as I mostly see other websites ranked same on both sites with the keyword given.
I m wiling to pay $120.00 to any SEO expert if they can bring my site on top of google and guarantee it like in Yahoo but I m not sure they can do it so it's waiste of money. I do have lot of good incomming links and a PR4. Still not good on Google.

I can't see any on-page factors to explain it (eg you use keywords throughout page and in H1 and in title - they are the main important places)

Off-page - I checked your backlinks (one of them was from here at WPW!!!) - most of those I checked used Tools4webmaster.com rather than 'software with resell rights' as the anchor text (anchor text rules!!!) --- this may be an area you can work on.

Another thing you could try is to use internal anchor text back to the home page of 'software with resell rights home' rather than 'home' ... why don't you test this for us? - come back and report weekly on your rankings in this thread!!!

BTW:

Isn't this sort of page:
http://www.tools4webmaster.com/webma...s/1/index.html
leading to this sort of page:
http://www.tools4webmaster.com/webma...ll-rights.html
getting a bit spammy - especially the use of keywords.

I am sure Google have not turned a deaf ear to all the complaints about these kind of 'directory' pages polluting search results. Do you think that Google may have wised up to it and be penalizing for it????

Thank you very much for your advices, I will do what you suggest me, but do you think that if I remove the webmaster_resources link, it will get my website better ranking ?

I don't know. Is it helping?

We don't know what google are doing with pages like that -- there have been very vocal noises in all forums about directory pages polluting the search results (exactly like the ones on your site) --- so if Google was listening and considered it a real problem you could assume that they may somehow be doing something about it (or at least trying to do something about it) --- but we don't really know.

If its not helping, then maybe remove it for a few months to see what happens - you can always put it back later.
