Default Redirected sites

Under my main site of http://SunnyparkFun.com in a folder I have an entirely different site in development which starts at: http://sunnyparkfun.com/Stores/Direc...nals/index.htm . I am using masked domain redirection so the domain name of http://DirectPromotionals.com points to that URL. The redirection allows me to enter meta tag keyword, title, and description data. The question is how is this viewed by Google. Using this method I can set up many sites under my one ISP account. Is it possible to get decent rankings with this setup?

Default

As long as the redirect is a 301 you should be OK.

Default 301?

Sorry, i don't understand what redirecting as 301 means. I use domain forwarding (from cheap-domains.com), which just asks the URL to forward the DirectPromotionals.com domain to. (and of course you have to fill out the meta keywords, description, and title). I have heard that Google doesn't pay much attention to meta data but if that is all that is available the hope is it will use that to arrive at what google thinks the target keywords for the page should be. I just don't know if it works that way. I have heard that google can't traverse the domain mask to go to the actual site (target of the redirection).

Thanks
Mac
