Default Questions For New Sites Entering Google

Hi Everyone,
As I learn the SEO ropes here I had a few questions for you all about your experiences in the way Google indexes and adds new sites. I've just put a site up for a client in the last few weeks, I designed the site with SEO in mind, it is an online store with about 1600 products, all Dynamically driven and no session ID's tracked on since I know Google dislikes that sometimes. The site has been indexed and added to about a dozen link pages and directory that are indexed by google.

It's probably easier if I give the URL, www.campersunlimited.com The site is dynamic like I said so all Category pages have a Dynamic title you'll notice, like clicking on Tents changes the title to Buy Tents, etc. same for Individual products as well. The main page is targeting the keywords Camping Supplies which when looking at the current results seems fairly attainable in my opinion.

The two things I'm wondering are about the google page rank, a quick search for CampersUnlimited shows the sites linking in that have been reindexed since they've been updated (More to come) however link:www.campersunlimited.com returns no results, I assume this is why the page rank is still zero, if I wait will this come on its own in a few weeks?

Also I've noticed Google has not indexed any pages below the main front page, these pages should be able to generate a lot of hits if indexed and all have different titles, etc so I'm not sure why they're not getting picked up. AWStats shows only single page hits from Googlebot however using things like Poodle? I believe and some other spider imitators it does really well at crawling everything.

Can anyone offer any advice or tips? Anything would be really appreciated, sorry for the long winded message!

Matt

Default a couple of things...

When you mention pages linking in are you wondering why they don't show up on google? If that is your question, it's probably because their page rank is not high enough. They have to have a rank of 3 or 4. You can check links across several engines at:

some of the other ses may have more links because it does not matter to them what the pr is.

Re: "I've noticed Google has not indexed any pages below the main front page". I took a look at your source and everything looks good so they should be back shortly. Sometimes a lack of doc tags can delay things. I noticed you have robots tag in there as well. Be patient and submit to more directorys. Go to:

and rip down the left side dirs and ses submissions. That will work.

peace...Paul
