Default Get Feeling Better

Hi mtempleton,
OK...Ya have a site and want to improve it? Get it on search engines?
If you scan the forums here at ProWorld you will find just about anything with every kind of site and information you want. That's just here!
But you can go to
www.dynamicdrive.com/hot.htm
http://www.webdevelopersjournal.com/...ansitions.html
www.webdeveloper.com

Also put "free search engine submission" in search box and you will find a load of sites that will submit the site to a few engines for free but want payment for a "delux" packg, etc.

These sites have excellent, clear instructions on Meta Tags, etc. And where to place these codes is shown quite clearly too.

Wanted to view your site but ya didn't post it. (or I can't see it) 80)

Good Luck To You!
Remember...Look at the topics here. You'll find and learn by the best!

Regards,
Bill

Default Oh..By the way...

Sorry Mykel,
Leave dynamicdrive.com until you have a good idea of what your doing.
But remember to scan everything. You see one META TAG that may not be what you need. There are many. Look for META TAGS for web page set up where <HEAD> and </HEAD> <BODY> and </BODY> <META> and </META>. You see these codes and words to the effect that this is how you begin..You're in the right spot!
Cheers,
Bill

Default start

Here is a good place to start

http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=17960

also look at other sites that are similar to yours and study their meta tags...

submit to DMOZ and other directories

start with whatever free links you can get and work on a budget to pay for the rest.

Hit the webpro archives, touch up your site and submit it to

http://www.webproworld.com/viewforum.php?f=4

for review.... and start all over again.

Hi,
The best way to gain hands on experience is to search in Google for keyword search engine promotion and open any top sites. After opening the site just view their source code you will find most of the meta tags you are looking for.
