Hi,
I did a search on google for 'Tiscali Network' and my site came up first on google. I have no idea how I got there or how long I will be there. Trouble is it's my site for the Tiscali Network here in Europe and there are also about 5 thousand others. There is no way of me adding any code for logs or stats on the site. How do I find out how many hits it is getting without this info? Cheers Paul www.tiscali-network.com/paulmottley The hottest mlm/network marketing program in Europe |

Congratulations !
Now the question is, will people use that particular search phrase to find your site ? Did your traffic increase. The inability to add tracking code is not very handy.. You cannot even add some javascript to the homepage ? <plug> If you COULD add some javascript to the site, consider www.fxcounters.com which gives you very detailed statistics, one of which is the ability to check which search phrases were used with which search engine. And its free. </plug> |

I think I'm kippered on this one.
The site is one that is generated for me when I signed up to the Tiscali-Network business opportunity. I've got no access to it at all, apart from adding my personnal details. Mind you I've got one new member from it so far ! But it would be nice to track it. Paul. www.Tiscali-Network.com/paulmottley Not your average Network program |

I've uploaded my new site 2 months ago and after the first month I got the #1 position for my main keyphrase "high resolution stock photos". My PageRank was 0,but I was happy to receive a lot of hits from Google. But... Two weeks ago my site got PR3 and went to position #439 for the same keyphrase. I have no any idea what's happened!
So, your story may be the same. Google is now changing something and noyhing's OK there. Some other search engines are also 'under repairs'

Each new site is given a PR boost - some kind of prediction of future PR, which results in quite high rankings - which are better than they should be. After the first PR recalculation almost every site drops in ranks - even so deep. The only solution is to build more content and get more relevant links :)

It was about 4 weeks for my site. But the actual time depends on Google and especially when they refrash their database.
