Default google vs yahoo
I have found that my site (http://www.purpleandfinelinen.com) comes no 1 in yahoo for relevant search terms - 'fine linen' etc but nowhere at all in Google (useing the langreiter tool).

Is it possible that Google bans a site if you pay for its ads (which I do) to ensure you keep paying?

Is there anyway of finding out if google have banned a site and for what reason?

No, it is not possible.

Your site is not banned - it has PR = 4 and is indexed.
You just need to put more content and get more links :)
