Hi everyone,
When doing some work today I had a thought, I was using Netcraft as I periodically do to check out the graph of our average uptimes, the netcraft results page has a PR of 5, not too bad, and on the results page it has a link back to the site you asked it to query. Now I know normally the only way of bringing up this page would be to go to Netcraft and type in the URL of the site you wish to look at, but if I were to point a link to the results page from one of my other sites for Googlebot to follow, do you think this would count as a PR5 incoming link? I fully realize PageRank is only one small spot in the picture but I can't help but turn away a free incoming link if I know I can do it. Has anyone tried this one before? Cheers, Matt |
