Go to Google Shopping and search for "checkoutproductdata".
You'll see a bunch of stuff that links to different websites. I found that they are listing something to our website. The entry that they list is absolutely nothing that we would have ever used! The link goes to our website. (Include the word "gawdy" in your search to find it.) This is making me nervous as to how this can happen. The link contains parameters that we NEVER use. Our links have no parameters appended to them. This is appended to our real URL. &fr=AFT2Wm3CEvktYOSB6VL-Kgm0vGm2GHMETovJFTVzJ12EkeTzGhUCNWR6B_4OWTEAHeHYg1 AuFTE6zAXDC7dW5mccPKPRfo_HaZAWXVk8nNFRF-LatOu-6Ifc5HTOZYBaysf0ihVWj7y8AAAAAAAAAAA&gl=us&hl=en&sa =title Our G Webmaster Tools (sitemaps) has been listing links with "HTML errors" with those parameters (the value for fr= may be different). Can anyone offer an explanation or advice how I can stop this nonsense? (I wrote to G Policy Violation but have no faith they'll review it.)

Write to Google's general help desk too. They seam to be quicker on the replies than that department. I think they are overwhelmed with all the legal crud on the web.
So this way you might be able to bypass that. Good Luck and don't give up!

Some people attempt to post affiliate links in Google Base - if you're not running an affiliate program this isn't maybe what is happening, but the same person is perhaps attempting this with other merchants.
Google are 1) awful at policing their own products - because their products are huge and 2) pretty good at reacting if they are told something wrong is happening (they basically leave it up to webmasters to do the policing for them). Just tell them - they'll pull the listing, and in all probability pull the account that's violating their policies. I've never written to Google (any department) and not had a response.

The photo that link uses is a very old one that we don't even have on our website (stolen?). Quote:
However, I have no affiliates unless they got them from a third party that is doing something we don't know about. I'm going to write to Google under the trademark option since our company name and url are a registered trademark. Maybe that'll get some attention. I wrote to G before about a trademark issue and they did respond (They failed to properly display my legal trademark as well as listing other websites when you search for just my trademark word which is a nonsense word. Odd, that time they were listing my competitors. Somehow, G figured out what I sell and matched my product line to the competition when you searched for my mark.). Get this, in the Google website search, search for "checkoutproductdata", include the quotes. Then, inspect the listings. "checkoutproductdata" is on the page sources. They appear to be price comparison websites. But, like I say, the image being used is a very old one and a description I never used or would ever use.

They appear to be price comparison websites. I am not the only website affected by this as indicated by the above test. I wrote to G legal who said ,"we will have our specialists look into this account and take appropriate action. They will contact you if we need any further information." It appears today that this listing for my website has been removed.
