Default Search relevance, trust and meaningless SERP's

Seems that I get not response to this http://www.webproworld.com/breakroom...tml#post393818 thread, so I follow it up with a broader discussion that I hope will be commented and answered.

I don't have to repeat this, but here are two related threads:

"TrustRank" vs. "PageRank"

Semantic engines - nothing difficult, at all...

Default Re: Search relevance, trust and meaningless SERP's

Today I made an interesting observation. Tried the following 2 KW searches on Google and Clusty.

1. advanced semantic linking

Google:

#1: Advanced semantic linking and transclusion.

#7: http://friendfeed.com/e/4a84bf02-1cc...-transclusion/

Clusty: #4 for Google #1 above.

2. semantic linking

Google:

Not found on the first 10 SERP's.

Seems that this is not a topic for WPW members.

Brought this LSI/LSA – Is MSN Ahead of GOOGLE in AI? thread to the top and got a negative rep point (I think I know from whom) with the following comment.

"Topping ancient threads for no reason?"

Hint: May be that should be asked before adding a negative reputation

You should know. If I silently leave this forum to work more on my sites and extranet, WPW is still my favorite eBusiness web forum.
  1. Still no reaction to this important topic?
  2. Any comment to the two searches / results mentioned above?
Note: I did not look through the Google SERP's more than once, so I may have missed the link on semantic linking.
