Why google updates its algorithm frequently

Please can anybody tell me why google updates its algorithm frequently is there any specific reason for it

Yes, I suppose there is only one reason. Beside generating profit the main mission is to provide the best search engine result for the searches hence they work on their algorithm a lot. Not very long ago there were major differences among the results of the different DCs, I suppose they were testing different algorithm and measured the satisfaction by direct and indirect tools.

They update it almost every day - tweaks happen all the time; the dial gets turned to weight different factors.

The specific reason is that they want to continuous improve the quality of the results!

they update so frequently now. All they do is to give the higher quality results. And we can't do a thing, the only thing we can do now is to create unique, high quality content. All we know about google is guessing, there's nothing disclosed by google.

Google is changing its algorithm frequently to avoid other webmaster that is trying to find out their secrets.

How do you even know when google updates its algorithm?

Google confuse me a lot, the same problem. Different figure every hour. But for me, It's more like Google dancing. I'm not sure but some of my colleagues told me that it happen all the time.
