question on adwords and analytics

I have not used adwords and am unfamiliar with anything beyond the basics.

I track analytics on most of my customers' sites and give them access to the info as a user. One customer wants to start using adwords. How do the adwords and analytics connect? Do I start a new account for just that site and make him an administrator? Would that make me responsible if he runs up a big bill?

What is the best way to handle it?
