Default How do i separate adwords data in Google Analytics from organic data

This is probably going to be a really newbie question but my brain is particularly below par this morning.

How do i separate adwords data in Google Analytics from organic data? GA is showing all visitors as organic when i know theyre not.

Well have you connected the GA and Google AdWords accounts? If so it should separate it for you.

Hey Inertia,

You can do separate that under
Traffic Sources >> AdWords >> Campaigns

This way you can make out your campaign data of adwords.. But I've worked with both very closely but I have found there were some data missed in analytics, like clicks and conversions... I could not find the reason behind it, one reason could be the java script blocking...

If any one has any idea what could be the possible reason for this then that would be great...

Yeah I find that the GA reports never match the AdWords reports.

You need to use the same Gmail login for both analytics and adwords. Then in Adwords you can click on the analytics tab and you'll be able to link the 2 accounts. Once you have done that, Analytics will automatically separate the data.

It's not perfect, but it's good enough. + you can also see your campaigns from within Analytics it self.

Does anyone know a solution to the problem of adwords and analytics being set-up on different G accounts but now they need to be combined? Can i do this without starting one account again under the different login? Is there any way to do this without loosing data?

Just add your Analytics Gmail login to Adwords or visa versa. You don't have to replace a login, just add.
