Angry I got knocked off Google

I was hit with a malware through a bogus UPS e-mail. Before I realized this, I was editing my website, and the malware infected my site. My webhost found this out and attempted to fix the problem immediately, however, Google found out at the same time, and put a warning up on my free listings that says, "This site may harm your computer". If you click on the site, another page says the same thing, so people can't (won't) open my site from the free listing. MI have been assured the problem was discovered and fixed, and Google even "unsuspended" my site, but they won't take the warning down. They say it may take a month or more! 80% to 90% of my revenue is through Google free listings. Lord knows it took my long enough to get on the first page consistently, and now this happened!

You can see this if you google the term "switch plates." It is costing me literally thousands of dollars every day! What can I do?

Thats nothing. You should see what happens when you try to access the site using Firefox 3...

(Firefox 3 blocks all sites that Google lists as malicious with another interstitial page.)

Well dont spam them. Do it once and wait. They will fix it. I think it took one of my clients a few weeks before it was fixed.

Wink Re: I got knocked off Google

It looks like everything is fixed, including on Firefox 3. Pleasantly surprised, as even Google said it could take a month. Thanks for your help and input.
