Ranked top 3-10 then not in 1st page anymore

I have a friend that have a new website that was listed in Google on first page for his keywords but moving between rank 3 and 10 for 2 weeks and now it's not even on page 1-2-3...

But of course his website haven't been banned because no reason for this and still listed in Google.

Is this the Sandbox? Google Dance?.....

My two cents is I got my SEO guru, Webnauts SEO Workers Search Engine Optimization Consulting Company and (http://www.webproworld.com/members/webnauts.html) to look at my site and he told me I had a number of penalties. He weaved his magic and I am coming back. I was always on page 1 or 2 and dropped to number 124 for my important keyphrase. I am moving back up with a bullet as they say.

A little promotion is that Webnauts is more than very good. The guy has a freaking sense about SEO and where the industry is going. My lack of SEO is the reason my site dropped and he has helped me move my site in the right direction, "movin' on up!!"

John gives real answers and not the 30,000ft level answers some around here give. He has saved us and I appreciate it!

New pages and websites commonly get a freshness boost that last 2-3 weeks. After that time the website will fall inline where Google feels it should rank if it did not acquire the appropriate amount of links to continue to rank there.

Maybe its a fluctuation.Maybe its because of the big competition.

You would have made our life and yours easier if you could tell us which site you are talking about, since we are not clairvoyants here.
