Generally not.

OK, next question.
How different are they and is there any way for me to see what someone else, say in Norway, is seeing? I only ask because at some point i might want to travel the world but do some freelance work. This will be difficult if me and the client are looking a different SERPs.

To get truly accurate results, you need to specify the Data Center (DC) for the area in question by IP Address or use a fully qualified URL (DC Name); or, use one of the available online services that will feed your query to selected DCs. One such tool is at Google Data Center Multiple IP Address SEO Research Tool .
Royal Pingdom » Map of all Google data center locations shows a global map of Google's DCs. Wayfaring Map - Google Datacenters has an interactive map that identifies each DC location. To get a the name of a particular DC given an IP Address, you can use ping or traceroute. Examples of fully qualified URLs (DC Names) in the US are: py-in-f104.google.com rn-in-f104.google.com nf-in-f104.google.com wr-in-f104.google.com jc-in-f104.google.com hk-in-f104.google.com lm-in-f104.google.com kr-in-f104.google.com kc-in-f99.google.com kc-in-f104.google.com qb-in-f104.google.com eh-in-f104.google.com Last edited by deepsand; 04-17-2008 at 07:07 PM. |

Hi deepsand,
I need also to see how my website appears in Google in different countries. I have tried what do you say and I always get my local google.com.ar (Argentina). What did I miss? Thanks!!! --------------------------------------- Apartments Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires Apartments |

If, for example, you want to find your SERP for a given search term, such as "buenos aires apartment rentals," entering that into the search term field at Google Data Center Multiple IP Address SEO Research Tool will yield a display of the selected no. of SERPs per DC for each of the selected DCs. In your case, such shows your Title, "Apartments Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires Apartments ," to consistently be in the 2nd position, behind "Buenos Aires Apartments for Rent - Furnished Apartments in Buenos ... ," which belongs to buenosaireshabitat.com . Seems fair enough to me. BTW, we should probably ask that such be denominated in our appropriate currencies, so as to avoid exchange issues. |
