Google completely removed on of our domains from index

One of our domains has been #1 for nearly 8 years now and last Wednesday 4/02/08 it was removed completely from Google? RV Warranty - Apply online today for your free quote! is the domain, we are lost as to what happened. We had put up a new contact form approximately 1 month earlier, that is the only change in approximately 1 year. Now what, unfortunately we derive our income from the web and feel handicapped as not to be able to control our own destiny, seems google does it for us. Last year same thing happened with another of our domains, but on Yahoo, was #1 for 8 years, then disappeared and has been #1 on google for 9 years. RV Financing Toll-Free 1-888-929-4424 is that domain, any help will be appreciated.

It's little more than a "feeder" page. It's not even a "site". It has no information. No pages. Just links to the main domain.

Can't say I'm surprised it's gone. Quite frankly, and to be brutally honest, it should be. It offers nothing to the site visitor other than a couple of links.

Thanks for the candid viewpoint, we normally send the people a copy of the warranty contract if they ask for a quote, so guess we better put some content up (the contract) and let them (and google) read that? Can't understand why its been #1 for 8 years as it pretty much was, years ago we did have a contract posted on it. I figured if someone was interested in an RV Warranty they would fill out a contact form and then we would send but today I see what your saying, put all the info up and then let them contact us if interested.

Just seems strange that google would take down the name RV Warranty - Apply online today for your free quote! completely, especially after it being up for so long.

Any thoughts of the Yahoo taking off RV Financing Toll-Free 1-888-929-4424 after it being up since 2000 in the natural position of #1.

How can this be the "main domain"?

It has no pages. It has, for the most part, zero information. All it does is "feed" people to the finance site. It's a doorway or feeder page.

If you've got more like this one, I'd expect them all to disappear.

Main page meaning it was selling warrantys not financing though it does link to our financing pages.

I think you have figured it out, about 10 days before we took down a few pages that lead to our previous warranty product company, approximately 5 pages, and put up just a contact form while waiting for the information from the new company to put on the site. Seems that is the reason from what crankydave is saying, basically no information about the warranty that is for sale. Thanks, Charles Davis
