Default Manual Google checks?

I recently saw in my stats that someone from Google Inc. visits my sites (not a bot but a visitor). And not one site but all my sites.

Sometimes searching for site: and sometimes with 'no referrer'

This already for a week...

What do you think?

Default Re: Manual Google checks?

Could just be someone using the Firefox User Agent Switcher plugin to appear as Googlebot. Additionally, there's another Firefox plugin called "No Referrer" which allows one to browse pages without sending the referring page.

After some poking around, it appears that this may be a user who clicked on an Adwords ad. Are you using Adwords??

Check your web stats for the user's IP address and trace it's origin.
