Default Is google showing the original page title and description in the SERP?

Yesterday I changed the title and description of a page and today I see the google search result shows the new title and description. Although the page was last cached 8 days ago.

Is google showing search result from the original page content now?

Just because the cache was not updated doesnt mean the new title wont show up in Google.

The search engine does not cache the page every time the page is indexed.

I was told by one of the senior seo guy that google is maintaining different server for showing the archives and search result. If this happens, I must tell, google is making their whole system very critical.

Default Re: Is google showing the original page title and description in the SERP?

Some times Google was showing different titles for the same landing page when using different keywords. Example: For the keywords "defensive driving" and "defensive driving online" Google was showing different titles for the same URL (first listing). I am not sure whether something wrong in the site or in Google algorithm changes.

Kindly advice.

Right I recently misspelling change to a title attribute on my blog. It was updated and reflected in the SERPs, helped the page rank a few notches better, yet the cache still showed the old title.
