Deindexed website crawled by googlebot?

hi,

my site has been deindexed by google for over a year new but googlebot still visits every other day (10 -20 pages) is this normal for a banned site? I submitted a few reinclusion requests over the year but nothing yet.

Maybe. What is the domain? Why dont you just buy a new clean domain and start over?

thanks for the reply!, the site is 360greece.com, it was doing well for a while had pr4 then dropped to 0, after that gone from the index for over a year now. i like the domain cause its nice & short so i dont want to give up on it yet. but if worse come to worse should i just upload it to a new domain? ive heard that bans may be lifted after a certain time limit e.g 1year is this true?

Why was it banned? I would definitely try moving forward with a clean domain name.

If I got it right, you are hosting sites on different domains using the same web site template.

The only time you have to worry about duplicate layouts becoming a problem is if you are hosting them all on the same IP address and linking them all together.

There are definitely other on-page issues, but I think others could look deeper for you.

Why should he try moving forward with a clean domain name? To wait for more than one year again, to overcome another site age algorithm factor? I don't understand you there bro.

It depends. I had already several customers who were penalized and I helped them to recover, and that lasted a very short time.

but still i dont understand why googlebot would still crawl a deindexed site. maybe to see if anything has changed perhaps?

Because the site is still links from other sites and most probably Google is checking to see if something changed.
So it looks like you have good chances to be re-included if you will fix your issues.
