Does Google force Google Analytics on you if you use Adsense?

Lately I've been noticing a lag on load on any of my sites that runs Adsense. I don't choose to run Google Analytics, but, oddly enough, when I look at the status bar in the bottom of Firefox, that's what is choking the load.

Is Google running GOOGLE ANALYTICS on my sites without my say-so? Is this something they sneaked into the TOS?

I don't really want Google knowing THAT MUCH about my business, if so.

Has anyone else noticed this? How do YOU feel about this?

No I have not noticed it. .

I certainly do not run Google analytics.
I do not think I care what google does. . Google is probably stupid enough to create programs to find out 'everything.'

I think it was the British Civil Service that discovered it could provide an honest answer. then hide it in reams of pointless information so nobody would ever find it.

Not the last time or two I loaded the page. Hmm. Was Google Dancing recently? Wonder if that had anything to do with it.

I think it might be the sites we visit who use G.A.

A lot of UK nerwspapers -for example- do not bother to sell their own space on their websites, they use Google Asdense.

In Firefox, other tools different from Google Analytics that also use a Javascrit call to a remote server to track the visits show the page as idefinetly loading. It does not happen in Explorer, so I think it is an issue with Firefox.
