Page Rank changing in Google dramatically

Hi Everyone,

Maybe someone can give me some comfort here. Recently we updated our site (Hypnosis Information for Everyone Beginner to Hypnosis Pro) and it hit page one of google for the search term hypnosis.

Today when I checked, the site has gone to ranking 41 for no apparent reason.

Has this been happening to anyone else? Is Google doing another shuffle?

This is happening to loads of sites - increase your google linkage - try these two
My Green Corner & Directory and Search Engine JoeAnt.com Update your blogs daily with fresh content - maybe even throw a RSS feed based on Google Alerts onto it. It will soon rise (as the actress said to the Bishop)

what do you mean by updated your site? - new content, new layout, new host, different urls, etc

Any and all the above can affect your ranking. Which version sat in the top spot? - which URL?

As there has just been a PR update it could be no more than that the competition has improved their ranking over the last few months and are now being rewarded. Time for you to evaluate their SEO compared with your SEO.

It could be something as simple as forgetting to encode that & in the meta description.

Can you please explain what do you mean with updating your site? Redesign? If yes, did you change pages names (urls)? If yes, did you make 301 redirects? Please be more specific.

And just FYI, Google shuffles all the time.
