Hi,
I have some sites and i am sellling paid links in my sites, some of my sites got dropped to pr0 from pr4, pr3 etc. I dont know why it got down. I want to know whether pr update is going on or it got pr0 because i am selling paid links at my site Please clear my doubt |

Absolutely correct - it's something that simply had to happen - bye bye toolbar pagerank

Selling paid links has been against Googles guidlines for years and Google has blocked the ability to flow pagerank from sites that sold links. However it appears that they are now manually setting the toolbar to zero as well. It's happening a lot on blogs that are doing paid to post.

I also feel that PR should be adusted because of link buying but when it comes down to the nuts and bolts did the changes in Google really effect anything besides what you see in the toolbar? I have seen a few of these articles that seem to think otherwise Google Directory Updated: Penalized PageRank Scores Not Visible
What is the purpose of the links you have on your site? Maybe you should add nofollows to your paid links. |

I have read various discussion on PR, but how important is it in that our site is zero (bad, right?)?
One of our key search terms gives us top 5 positioning. Although some searches that I feel should get us close to the top, gives us a position beyond 100 (according to Google's web master tools). |
