Google embracing Web 3.0 or media over IP?

two video clips inspired me to write this short post.

The first is thought provoking:

• Google changes algorithms?
• Ranking newer posts of information higher than informative or factual articles.
• Incoming authority links are basically useless.
• Google embracing Web 3.0?

My own prediction is that Web 3.0 will center around media over IP. KW's

• Media Web developement.
• Example: Video / audio Web developement for disabled people.
• Live Tv over broadband.
• SEO related to entertainment and theatre, and less on bread and butter.
• Web applications also for disabled people: Build*Your*Own AJAX Web*Applications - SitePoint Books
• Advanced linking using XML and XLink + DOM building.
• The mobile revolution will continue. Example more advanced video phones.

For the first video. I dont think Google changed anything like the video suggests. It has always ranked fresh content higher at first. The only difference is indexing quicker and including some previously filtered pages (in the Si) in the normal index.
