No search engine provides the results I want without a little extra work. You have to think of them as being in their infancy stages only now is the money and compotation their to justify large scale improvement.

To me, they all return sites/pages relevant to the search terms.

What is it that you see as not being relevant?

When you seek minute obscure terms that there is not much industry for like a “2 inch stainless steel caster” your 49,200 = 0 companies that sell or make I spent extensive time on some obscure projects where there are only 1 or 2 companies in the world that deal with it and if they are online they are buried.
If you are trying to find overseas manufactures of a specific product you can hit the same barriers.
I just think there is room for improvement especially in advanced searching and that this will come with time or competition.
