Default They drive me crazy

Hi all,

I know that google changing things since last November, but I can stand it anymore.

I am running 10 websites and for each of them one day I am on the top of the list for my keywords, and the other day I am not even in the top 1000.

I don't change anything in my code, because at that point I don't know what to change.

I know how you feel Scialom, I lost 3 #1 rankings that I had held for some time, when the Florida Update came around but after looking at what was going on, I bit the bullet, changed nothing and the Brandy update has brought all three rankings back into top 5 slots.

Algorithm chasing, especially when major changes are afoot, should be considered in the same light as horse racing, never bet more than you can afford to lose.

How are you doing in Yahoo? They still have a big chunk of traffic that may help tide you over.

I think yahoo still using Google...

Here is a small example:
For my keyword "subtitling" -
October - my position 27
November - n/a
December - 133
January - n/1
15/2 - 554
16/2 - 376
17/2 - 88
18/2 - 145
19/2 - 298
20/2 - 135

Sometime I have a dramatic change on the same day...

Have a look at your text links, then have a look to see if the same phrases are also 'sponsored links'.

I'm not sure about this theory, but some of my pages have dropped where there are sponsored links on the same phrases as my text links, where as other pages, with no sponsored links on the same phrases as my text links appear to be unaffected.
