Matt Cutts recently announced that Google will be treating underscores in URL's as word separators...

Yes, that's certainly great news for those of us that used underscores before we knew better.

I read that the other day but selfishly neglected to mention it.

I've noticed that Digg is using the underscores. Does anyone know if they were using dashes before or was it always that way?

Matt now says to go with dashes if he was starting a new website.
