Unhappy Why my website is not indexed

I have been running the website tafreeh dot com since october 2006. The website was originaly registered in march 2000 and than it was run by a company. The company than lost interest in the website and they dropped the website. After alot of negotiation, we managed to purchase the domain for undisclosed price.

Now its been 10 months, since we have purchased the domain. Although, the domain age is about 7 years from original registeration. But the website is yet not indexed by Google. Not a single page of my website is indexed by google. The PR of my website also hasnt imrpoved to any number since the time of our purchase. When we bought it, it was zero, but it should have improved since we have worked on it very much.

In the meanwhile, i starteda domain just 2 months back. Worked a little on the website's seo and it started to show up in search engines and having good PR. I am not mentioning the domain name because i am not starting this thread for advertising.

I'll be very much thankful to all of you for taking some interest, reviewing my website and suggesting me something real great.

My other website have good rankings in search engines and its really frustrating for me to see the performance of this website.

Looking for your replies,

Amir.

Sign up for Google Webmaster tools and see if they tell you why. If you're banned that will let you know.

I presume you've also checked if there is a robots.txt file in the root directory of your server and if there is then checked if it denys the search engines - or namely google.

That could be your problem.

1. There is no robot.txt.

2. In google webmaster tools, I get this,

Index status: No pages from your site are currently included in Google's index. Indexing can take time. You may find it helpful to review our information for webmasters and webmaster guidelines. [?]

What do you suggest. Thanks in advance for taking interest.

Amir.

wow... is all I can say.

Let's start with this...

tafreeh *dot* net - Duplicate site

Let's also add what ever this mess is...

channeldosti *dot* com - meta refresh on the home page and links pointing to folders within the site on tafreeh *dot* com

As a side note, there are more pop-ups than a toaster factory.

Dave

Amir both websites are basically brand new in the "eyes" of the SE's. As Stymiee suggest please please sign up for Google webmaster tools and ask for reinclusion for the first domain.

Submit a Reconsideration Request to Google if You Buy a Banned Domain

Good suggestions but I'd also advise "cleaning up" the other issues, especially the duplicate site that is indexed, before submitting a reinclusion.

But isnt it like google.com and google.co.uk ?

There are alot of websites and companies that use similar content for their .com, .net, .org, etc. This is what we have done.

Tafreeh.net and Tafreeh.com - they arent actualy 1 sites. Alot of data is on tafreeh.net and much of it on tafreeh.com. The content isnt duplicate either. All the content that is on tafreeh.net does not have a copy on tafreeh.com. Both have unique content.

Yes, we have put popups, but many of my competitors have usually placed more than 5 (Yes 5) popups.

I agree that popups can be the negative point from sites point of view. But still, site should in any case should atleast get something indexed and some imporved page rank.

We can deal with the popups issue. I havent transfered fully tafreeh.net to tafreeh.com because tafreeh.net is receiving a huge number of SE traffic which i can not risk. But I want that tafreeh.com becomes my major website.

Looking for more~

Amir.

No it's not like google.com and google.co.uk Not at all.

Let's look at the tafreeh sites.

Both have the same title with the .com URL in it.
Both have te same header graphic.
The links and the info on both site point back to each other and to folders all over the place.

Google is most likely seeing it as 2 sites with the same content.

Now lets take the channeldosti site...

You have a meta refresh on the home page, which is bad to begin with, that redirects to the .com tafreeh site. Then on the .com tafreeh site, you have all kinds links pointing back to the folders within the channeldosti site.

Sorry Amir but looks like a mess and a real attempt to "game" the SE's to me and most likely Google sees the very same thing.

I would add the robot.txt, site map, and put a link on craig's list. I often place links on Craigs list to jump start a website and I try to keep a link there for traffic and it is a link of course.

I would also do a search for the domain name on Google to see if there are any links to pages that do not exist. You can block in robot.txt or do a 301 redirect.
