One of the top problems webmasters face is getting into the search engines quick and ranking well. The reason is that they over complicate things and thus even risked being delisted from the search engines because of these complicated, blackhat methods.
The main component of good Search Engine Optimization is to gain quality backlinks. Here is a quick and easy way, which you can accomplish in one hour, to allow you to appear in Google's search engine quickly: Step One Create a blog at all these places - Blogger.com, Wordpress.com, MySpace.com, Spaces.msn.com, Tripod.com, Pages.google.com Step Two Post some useful content on all these pages, then post one link back to your site. Step Three Ping all these blogs at these places - Pingomatic.com, Pingoat.com, Pingtheempire.com. Step Four Watch your site appear in Google's rankings in as little as 24 hours! Step Five Post to your blogs once every two or three weeks to give it fresh content that the search engines will love. |

how, exactly, is your site benefited by being "Listed On Google In 24 Hours"? getting indexed by Google is as simple as launching your site. they will and do find it.
not sure what your strategy will accomplish unless you are trying to actually create some beneficial content, because they way it stands, you are just launching a blog to assist Google in the site discovery process and not for the intended audience... and that's a spammy approach to SEO. |

To my amazement I got a site listed in Googe in a matter of what appears to be hours. Added a link to the home page of 3 other PR3 & 4 home pages to it. They must have been added just before Googlebot stopped by. How lucky is that? But I take Chris's point about who cares if its 2, 24 or 48hrs. As crankdave said, I now have to work on the rankings.

I always keep a link on Craigs list. It has gotten me business and I think it helps with the initial SE inclusion.
I'm sure I read that someplace.....
