Hi to all SEEs! (Search Engine Experts)
I am referring to AOL search result, but since AOL uses Google result feed, I think this should be correct place to post this... My appologies if I am wrong. In AOL search, there is something call the "Turn SafeSearch Off". I notice that my site does not appear in AOL result but appears in Google result in page 1. I was just toying with the "Turn SafeSearch Off" link in AOL and whola! my site appears in the result! On the other hand, my site appears on Google page 1 even though I set Google to have Strict Filtering ... My site has nothing to do with adult content (it sells handbags) ... I'm curious, how does Google/AOL classify a site for SafeSearch? What is the 'webmaster' criteria? Anyone knows of a whitepaper by either Google or AOL? Thanks a million in advance for your opinions. cheers. |
