Default 2 Domain Names

Hello,

I have 2 sites that I manage. I am taking 1 of the 2 sites down. I would like to have the domain name of the site I am closing point to my current live page. I am afraid that since both sites are already indexed by search engines this would penalize me. How would you about doing this??

Thanks,

Angel

If you use Google webmaster tool you can request URLs removal from Google Index.
And then create 301 redirection to the new page.
