Default Google Webmaster Tools - PageRank graphs

The PageRank of your pages in Google

Distribution

High [graph]

Medium [graph]

Low [graph]

PageRank not yet assigned [graph]

Can anyone tell me what the graphs mean? Does more "green" in the "PageRank not yet assigned" graph mean that it has to go down to add more PR to the Low graph, or does it need to fill the white space in the bar graph?

I can't find info on this page for the life of me, and Google's help doesn't explain it.

Default Re: Google Webmaster Tools - PageRank graphs

Page Rank has not been assigned to a number of your pages.

Either your site is too new, your content is too knew, you've recently added a number of pages and/or you simply don't have any inbound links to your other pages.

Ultimately, what you want to see is lots of white in the "unassigned" bar and lots of green in the "High" bar.

Don't lose too much sleep over it though. Page ranks are only updated a few times a year and don't move up very quickly on a new site or domain, especially in a very competitive niche.
