Default Paid links question

Hi,

We are currently busy building a non-profit web site, commissioned by private pilots in South Africa - Fly-in-destinations Southern Africa

The purpose of the site is to list all airfields, landing strips, airports, heli-pads and microlight airfields in the whole of Southern Africa accompanied by the accommodation in a 10-30km radius surrounding the airports as well as events taking place in that region.

I.e. a pilot that wish to attend some event, have access to a "one-stop-shop" where they get all the airport info and from that page could book their accommodation, book a car and get more info about the events taking place (See Fly-in-destinations Southern Africa example page)

Airports and event listings are free of charge.

In order to cover costs we will be charging the venues that want to list on the site ZAR 120-00 per annum - that translates to about $ 17-00 per annum for a listing.

For the $ 17-00, each venue will receive an Accommodation page where they could list their info themselves and update their information if it changes.

Here is my question: Will this be viewed by Google as paid-for links????? Will we be penalized for this in the Search engines???

Must I put a no-follow link on all the accommodation pages?

Please advise

Personally I dont think anyone has to use the nofollow. Check out tihs thread:

Matt Cutts Finally Answers Paid Links Questions

Yes Google is still pretty vague on the definition of a paid link, but at worst they simply wont count these "paid links" for you or the website your linking to. They dont have any plans on demoting websites using paid links, just ignoring the links from vlaue.
