Where did you get that from? Wherever it is they're out of their minds.

Look at the pagerank, any site with more "outbound links" or a bigger link farm?

It (what?) depends of this fraction:

Number of relevant IBL's / Number of relevant OBL's.

Your illustration is unclear.

Are you guessing? On your fraction I would be 1/100 or even smaller. I have over 1200 posts and many of them contain multiple links. Google just re-ranked me from 2 to 4.

Lets not think quantitative again. It is about relevancy here. If the links are relevant , then fine. Their is no magic ratio of out-bound links that should be on a web document.

My bolding.

It was more of a joke. There are now so many similar threads about OBL's.

"Read how Wikipedia describes newsgroup and forum spam: "Old Usenet convention defines spamming as excessive multiple posting, that is, the repeated posting of a message (or substantially similar messages).""

Moderators should learn members to make a site search before they ask. That will IMO make WPW a even better (more professional) forum. Minimalism is important in 20007 and especially on the internet.

What about a new forum category?

"This has been answered before"

There should be some sticky's there to explain how to search the WPW forum.
