Google and other search engines have a long way to go
When I relax, I use to chat on the Norwegian Spray chat where I have a lot of good friends. I have always been interested in birds and once thought of studying ornithology. Yesterday I discussed birds with a woman at Spray and she said that she had obeserved an unusual heron in northern Norway. The Norwegian word for heron is hegre, so I told her to make a picture search at Google. Here is an example of how irrelevant a hit can be on a search engine like Google. Try hegre (standard and no picture search) on Google.com and Google.no and observe that the first hits are very irrelevant, even if hegre is a name in Norway.
Seldom have I personally seen such an irrelevant hit. Any worse. Hopefully this could be a lasting thread of irrelevant SE hits.
