Hi Greg,

some comments.... firstly it is called 'phishing' not fishing. Phishing is used by scammers and spammers to get your credit card details etc, the link you provided just mentions your home page name they are not phishing.

However, if I was you, I would be more concerned over my own pages. You seem to try to use every animated graphic under the sun and have no organisation to the pages. You have images hosted offsite, so to look at one of your PCs I have to go elsewhere.

On you home page, you have banners to your own site, each of which is a clickable link.... but have a link saying 'Enter' next to each one! I really think you need to redesign your page, as if I was a potential customer, I would just move on with a headache!

Sorry, but I am trying to be constructive.

Cheers

John

Default OK thanks

Hi Thanks, well Im not sure which web site of mine you went to.
www.projectalien.com was my first web site , its through godaddy ,and the template was really hard to deal with so I just use it as a portal .
My next web site was www.alien-computer.piczo.com that web site is actually alien computers , when I built it all the picts were hosted in photobucket and their were alot of loading problems.
So I then built www.projectalien.piczo.com
I tryed to put every thing I had learned about building piczo web sites into it so it is built differently and all the picts are hosted on site.
But projectalien had no shopping cart so I had to open a shopping cart web site , since it was my first 1 ,I got it on godaddy its www.shop.projectalien.com
So then I was just gona demolish the old alien computer on piczo , so I put up a expiration date on the home page and a link to the new web site. well in 2 weeks I got 500 Im's and emails asking me to rebuild it insted of destroying it, so I ripped apart the entire web site , got rid of all the photobucket picts and uploaded 475 picts to it.
and intergrated a paypal shopping cart into it.
But their are alot of meta tag and other small problems associated with piczo , like having all dynamic pages.
So then I opened http://alien-computer.net
but I soon found out Microsoft office live uses a for of XML called superscript and subscript , but you can also put .txt or .html in to box's just not directly into the body of the page.
so I decided to use that for a test web site and opened http://alien-computer.org which is now my main web site. I work so much on the alien computer .org site that I dont have time to work on the others.
If you would like to look at the http://alien-computer.org that would be cool, But since I have to do all the work my self , you can point out things I need to fix , but I may not have time to fix them right away. Alot of the meta tags need to be written, and such , But their is alot of work to be done and I have to do it all.
But any suggestions will be given great weight ,and possibly if I can find some one who knows whats needs to be done. Ill try to hire them to work on it.

I guess some words on your site triggered a filter at Google.

Default Im sorry a filter ?

Im sorry a filter ? you lost me. ok which web site ?
I know google wont verify godaddy web sites due to the 404 page error thing.
they wont verify piczo web sites due to ?
they had me put in the meta tag verification string , but in piczo you have to write your own meta tag, so I did. but the google just says its in the wrong part of the meta tag, I put both theirs and yahoos in the same part of the meta tag , yahoo says its in the right place , but google says its in the wrong place.
and yahoo and google wont verify microsoft office live web sites as 1) the meta tags are built in . 2) the only way to add a page that ends in .html insted of .aspx is to upload it as a document into the web site. when you do that both google and yahoo dont like the new path ( http://alien-computer.org/documents/key yahoo or google).
portal 1) www.projectalien.com will take you to
www.projectalien.piczo.com projectalien
www.alien-computer.piczo.com alien computers
www.alienredirector.piczo.com Alien ReDirector
http://alien-computer.org Alien Computer

Portal 2)http://alien-computer.com
goes to all the same places and
http://alien-computer.net test web site

I also have 2 shopping cart web sites
www.shop.projectalien.com
www.alienpaypalscart.piczo.com

Its alot of work , to work on ,maintain , and build all of these web sites my self. Before last august , I never had or built a web site. so Im quite new to web site building. Alot of my pages need meta tags, But every one has a opinion as to how they should be written and what information they should contain , as far as description and key words go.
so any one who might wish to look at my web sites and give their comments and or suggestions is more then welcome to do so and I will try to make changes as fast as I can. actually since I have not gotten any suggestions recently the waiting time to have them intergrated into the web sites is about non existant. I have never heard any reference to this issue, nor have I seen a problem there. Can you be more explicit about this issue?

Thanks,
Ken

Default yes ok the godaddy problem

ok well I have a 5 page web site tonight , I have 1 yahoo html verification page, and it works fine. so I put up 1 for google as well, and the responce i got from google was '' your web site returns a 200 code for a 404 page error, so what they later told me they were doing is they try to go to a page they know you dont have , to get a 404 page error. but on godaddy their is no 404 page errors, their is how ever a page that says ''your page can not be found, please make sure you typed in the URL correctly, if you are the site owner please make sure it properly published'' and ''click here'' ''to go to godaddy customer service if you are a web hosting customer.''
so I called godaddy and told them about it and they said it's just a setting and they would fix it , so when they told me it was all set i went back to google and tryed to get it verifyed again. again I got the same error from google, when I told them what I did to fix the problem, I got back a smart ass answer of the programming on the page has to many errors acording to WC3 programming check web site and that I should worry about my programming first. so I went and ran the program from the site, this is the results I got my web site had 17 errors in programming, googles home page had 167 , tigerdirect who is verifyed by google had 1600 and newegg.com that is also verifyed by google has 23987 errors when i ran the program , so once again I called godaddy and they said those errors were in programming closings and such arround some of my banners. how ever the code is written I my self dont know, but godaddy said the errors did not present a hacking , or other structial problem and the site would not have problems or crash. so once again I went back to google and explained all of that and again I got back a smart ass answer of '' you need to worry about your own web site and no google, newegg or tigerdirect, and those errors are probabilly why the 200 responce comes back for a 404 error, but by that time I was well sick of smart ass answers. so I wrote back to them that it did not matter how many times they type in www.projectalien.com/donkeydick , because i dont have a porno web site and they should take their smart mouthes to the dog pound and find a nice furry friend to suck off.
After that I did not bother with asking them any more question's in their web master forums as Im guessing they just have a attiude, but still I must say that Matt Cutter guy from google, may want at all costs to never meet up with me , or I will show them just how funny I think they were with their responces.
sorry but thats what went down, Greg

You have three options with GoDaddy hosting for 404 error code handling:

1) Your Home Page
2) A Custom Page with designated URL
3) GoDaddy's standard error page

It's your choice. Check your hosting setup, you can change it any time.

Multiple 301 and htaccess usage are a bit more shallow.

Default Thank's

well thank you for the help , but ive given up on google, its become quite clear to me that they have no intention of verifying any web sites of mine , so I just dont bother with them any more.
just like in the piczo.com web sites both google and yahoo want the meta tag key in the exact same place, yahoo says no problem its in the right place , but oh no not google , some how their's is in the wrong place . so ive been wondering for quite a while if google is'nt just being a pain in the ass on purpose in a effort to try to force me into getting a google web site.I know for a fact they found the key the same as yahoo because they told me they did just its in the wrong place, but thats all they will say , when i try to enquire further they start talking like little kidds, so it has to make wonder if some one did not just give the job to their 13 year old or some thing.
I'm not sure but at this point their just a big waste of my time , Im actually more concirned with making my web site more user friendly and trying to offer a large selection of products to choose from.
possibly the peeps at google are loosers , like the women I worked with at general motors , who would just talk crap all day and spread rumors , then they would get up set when they got yelled at for not getting any work done, and these women were all over the age of 38. so after having to work with them it makes me wonder what bunch of I.A.M.'s they must have working their, lol
but thanks any how for the info.
