Is this W3C backlink good?

Is this a valuable quality IBL? I have seen it also before, but as I also have noticed, it is often updated.

I do not think the link is worth anything and the links from W3C that use to count no have a no follow tag on them.

The page has a PR 1, and does not use the nofollow attribute. And is backlink from W3C is not worth?

Webnauts...I would have to say a link is a link and that is a positive, however I don't think it's worth a ton since there isn't much content on the page that is relevant to your content.

I must agree with you at this point. I guess it is not bad to have a link from an authority like W3C.

I certainly don't think it's a negative, I just wouldn't rank it as one of your top 100 links. It's there, and may help, but not a lot.

John are you seeing this on the backend of Google Webmaster Console as well? At least then you could verify it a as true back link from W3 if you did see it there. Of course the value would still be minimal as mentioned above.
