Hi
Firstly I'm really sorry if this question has already been asked but I cannot seem to find reference to it through searching. I have noticed that when some terms (usually specific company names) are searched in Google, underneath the top result it also contains a list of other pages within that site. Then 'More results from [company domian.com] »' A good example is if you carry out a search for Channel 4 in Google UK. When searching the company name of one of my client sites the top results are shown in this way but then I have an very similar client (same type of business and site) and this does not happen for them. I have checked the sites against each other to see what differences there are. Both have Google sitemaps and normal sitemaps. Is there something in particular that needs to be done in order for Google to show your site this way or is it simply at their discretion. Thanks L |

As with anything Google it's all part of an algorithm that no one but Google knows. The one common factor is that this typically occurs only for the top ranked site and is usually a major brand/popular site. You can read more about it in Matt Cutt's blog.
