Default Queries before I change my Domain.

I have a blog on blogspot
"blogandpingtutorial.blogspot.com"
As I started this blog without giving it much importance. But with time this blog got bit popular.
Few Interior pages have PR 4 and some have PR3. Now because of its improper domain name I am having problems to market it. I need to get a different Domain name.So my questions ARE :
A) Should I ftp this blog to my own server.
B) Can FTP be done for each urls of this blog or have to be done for just the main url of the blog. As only interior pages have got PR, how it would effect applying permanent redirects.
C) Is it better to just change to own domain and keep the blog hosted in google servers as per the new service provided by google.
D)How does FTP effect the external links to the inner pages of the blog.

I do not have much idea about the blogpost service, if it involves some blogging scripts like Wordpress, then the task is little bit complecated.
So, first of all let us know whether it uses some blogging scripts like WP or not.

Secondly, if you change the domain name, you would be in trouble to get back the old inbound links unless you are able to map(redirect) each of your old urls to point to the new urls hosted in new server.

One of the weaknesses of blogger is the inability to do redirects if you move things. There isn't any way to redirect, other than meta redirects, which search engines don't usually pass link credit on for. Also, it's really tough (if possible at all) to do these on a per-post level.

I guess the answer, which you're not going to want to hear, is that you'll be starting over, unless you just buy a domain to market with and redirect that one to your blogspot blog.

Brian.
