Default Strange Behaviour from Google, Any Ideas.

I am working on the site www.johnsonrealtyofstlouis.com to rank for its name Johnson realty of st. louis with no luck. I have corrected several problems like potential duplicate content (site displaying on two seperate domains, domain forwarding mistake)adding absolute links to the home page to increase page rank to internal pages, adding incoming links and making sure the phrase was prominent on the site. The site ranks for Johnson realty of s louis, johnson realty of saint louis, johnson realty of louis, but not johnson realty of st. louis. Another note of interest the google sitemaps control panel where it lists what googlebot knows about your site, "st." isn't listed. We also had white text on top of a black image that contained the addresss information in it. Would Google filter out "st. or st" results specifically and not the other variations. Got any Ideas? Already submitted a reinclusion request through the webmaster tools control panel.

Keep getting links. You do have a couple of decent links but still not a whole lot. Also, you are going to need to just wait. There is no need for a reinclusion request because you are not banned. Eventually you will see the ranking you want but just need to keep doing link building and site promotion. You are probably just sandboxed for the term you are targeting but will come out eventually.

How recently did you make all these changes? Maybe patience is next in line for things to do.

I have the option of redirecting to another domain. Would it be quicker to try to get a new url indexed and ranked or hope that I have fixed the offending code?

Again...as we have both said, you need patience. You mentioned "offending code" but I doubt there is such a thing on this site. It all looks good and they are ranking you for different terms so time will be all you need. Rankings don't come overnight and can be unpredictable.

Default Just curious why ranking for "saint" and not "

I realize "St. Louis" is more competitive than "saint louis" but wondering why I rank for this keyword that I have not mentioned on the site, much less optimized for? I wondered if the keyword density was too high on the home page?

Don't suppose anyone has appropriate link partners to help this site out? Customer is frustrated.

Default Did you try this?

Did you try to write 600-word articles and submit them to ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com ?

Codrut Turcanu.
