Default Need Blogging help please.

I need some blogging advice please.

I want to blog my web site www.ableinspector.com but I am unsure of the best way to do it.

My primary goal is IBL's to my web site. My secondary goal is increased traffic to my web site.

My plan is to post periodic interesting inspection photos along with a description and advice as to how it should have been done.

I will also give advice on buying, selling, etc.

Problem is I have no idea as to how to do this. I understand there are more than one option as to blog hosting, which is best for my application?

What is the best way to get good quality IBL's to my web site via the blog? I know good content is important, I'm more looking for adivce on how to set it up and manage it so that it keeps me high in search engine rankings.

I am already number one or two in everything but YAHOO, which can't seem to properly index the web to save itself.

Thanks!

If your goal is to get IBL's to your site and to increase traffic, do the following :
1. Identify the required keywords related to your field
2. Pick the potential keywords from the above list
3. Start writing blogs revolving around the potential keywords periodically. Preferably everyday.
4. Use Wordpress for your blogging purpose. It's ping service is something very useful and there are many reasons to use wordpress.

Good luck :~)

Hi Inspector,
The best idea for you would be to replace your current system with a wordpress blog (if you're in the mood for a challenge). By doing this, you would be able to use many useful tools that wordpress supplies. The most important tool would be how easy it is adding pages and articles. I would suggest to leave the comments off on all pages so you don't waste your time moderating it all the time.

It's not a golden egg but it sure beats pounding pages out by hand.

I would suggest you to check out https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com, so you can make sure all your site pages have been included into Yahoo Index first.

Default Word Press is a Good option However

However if you really expect good traffic to your site, then i would recommend go for some other blog.. And offcourse you have to pay for the good thing..

WordPress is good but when traffic increases then it makes the site very slow...

Best of Luck :)

You can place the blog on your site and make it interesting enough that others will link to it or you can place it on it's own domain name and link to your site from there.

If the blog is set up correctly and your writting is good enough you can start seeing traffic to the blog in a couple days of posting.

I would go with wordpress but you did to make some changes to the site as soon as you get it online and before you start posting to make it more SEO friendly.

I would recommend Wordpress as well; there are several plugins built to add even more seo to your blog.

You can get incoming links by of course submitting to directories. Start writing great content and then posting on others blogs. Eventually you will get ohers to link to you.
