I have a fairly new website (a couple of months old). The inside pages all seem to have PR, but the main page has none. Does anyone know what this means exactly? Is it bad? Or is just because the site is new and doesn't yet have enough content/links to have PR for the main page? Thanks for any advice!

It is not bad, but a bit strange.
Some reasons of your problem can be: 1. You do not link from your deeper pages to your homepage, especially the ones who have PR. Bad site navigation. 2. There are no sites linking to your homepage.

One thing you might consider would be to channel your internal links to the pages that you want ot have the highest PR.
You could also investigate to find out where your external inbound links are entering the site, and distribute the PR within the site accordingly. |
