Default Google Sued for Video Copyright Infringement

Friday is the typical day for stocks to be sold-off and coincidentally, it may be a good day to dump your GOOG:

Here's a link to the news story:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,228479,00.html

While the Google spin is that their lawyers can stop the bleeding, I suspect that there will be a whole lot of claimants jumping in line to get their share of settlement money. As the videos added seems endless, I also suspect the lawsuit line will be endless.

Google tried to do their own on-line video, but YouTube kicked their butt. So, if you can't compete, buy them. Google probably should have waited, until this happened to YouTube and they may have gotten YouTube at a far lower price. Then again, maybe the lawsuits wouldn't have arrived, until the pockets were deep enough.

In any event, Google will do what Google does best, throw money at a problem. Will it be your money?

I find it humourous how much you hate Google, no hard feelings Tandem.

Sorry, I don't see any "hate" in my reporting of the news. If you don't like the news, you may comment on it. If you think it is inaccurate, you can offer a correction. If you don't like my opinion, which is Google will simply throw money at the problem, please offer your own ideas on how they will defend against these lawsuits.

Will they remove the content? Fold YouTube? Collect royalties? Just payoff claimants? You tell me. In the meantime, whatever they spend to defend/settle such lawsuits is, in fact, their investor's money.

Obivously this is not the first post on WPW where you have felt Google was doing wrong or pointing out Google would fail in the near term.

I don't recall ever posting regarding a video copyright issue on Google or anyone else. Google has failed on several occasions costing investors some $20 Billion within a two-week timeframe. Google has also posted proprietary information on the internet while at the same time trying to promote people storing their proprietary information on Google.

As for videos and failing, Google's own on-line video offering failed. That is why they bought YouTube. They have failed at several endeavors. That is not my point. My point is a multi-Billion dollar investment is now in jeopardy. How are they going to handle it?

You have posted nothing to refute or agree with these claims. All you have posted is that you think I hate Google and have posted other negatives things about them. So, you're 1 for 2. I don't hate Google, but I have announced negative aspects of their business.

The subject is Google, not me. Apparently, no one disagrees with the statements of fact on the original post. Maybe no one cares. That's fine. However, if the best you can do is attack the messenger, then you really have no opinion on the subject.

Maybe you should complain to the Associated Press, as they are the authors of the article I cite.

Nevermind Tandem just trying to have some fun and again you have flipped out in a Google thread.

Their are plenty of soap boxes in the world.

I didn't think you could contribute. Thanks for proving me correct. Also, you are an example of a moderator who not only can't argue, but can't stay on topic.

And you sir are another example of a forum member that contributes nothing to the any thread he posts in. Simply talking big and bad about companies that could careless about him, while hypocritically prompting Google all over his own website.

You have called Google every name in the book in this forum. You do nothing for WPW and you have been a menace in other forums. If it were up to me you would have been gone a long time ago.

I am here to help, not argue or prove anything. Your here to push some sort of false agenda against Google and it is not welcome. Go find another mountain to preach from.

My statements stand and you are shown as one that can not debate with solid arguments and resort to nothing more than generalizations and lies. Again, it was an AP news story, not me preaching from the mountain top. Now, go call your friends for help.
