Default How long nowadays for a new site to rank well in google

About a year ago or so it was 6 months to a year, but since we all know the sandbox isnt an all or nothing thing anymore, how long does it take for a site to rank ok for so so competive terms assuming you get a few average links a day.

Also would help to post info about the last site you launched, when you launched it and the quality of traffic you are getting. Thanks.

It really depends upon the niche and keyword. If your site has unique content and you get a necessary number of links pointing back to your site (these sites being trusted and relevant) and the number of competitors in your niche is low - then within few weeks you can see your site at the top.

I agree. A few weeks is all it takes as long as the targeted keywords are not too competitive.

no way can you get to the top in that short a time. The reason is because it takes a while for inks to go into effect. I'd say 3-4 months minimum

Be fair to yourself, 3-4 months for your full campaign to start kicking in.
